Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated, experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Faculty – Business Administration - Economics. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution’s learning objectives. Responsibilities include teaching the subject area or areas that correspond to the specialty and contributing to the academic process of the institution through participation in the development of curriculums, assessment, evaluation, research, peer mentoring and coaching, community service, and advancement of the institution. AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students. REQUIREMENTS 1. Master's degree in Economics or a closely related field required. 2. Minimum of 3 years of business industry experience. 3. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a successful instructor in your subject area, prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level. 4. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English. 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and teamwork. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds. 7. Commitment to student success and the institution’s mission. 8. Able to submit copy of any diploma, academic transcripts, and/or certifications 9. Proven leadership skills from your previous work experience. 10. Knowledge and experience in technical applications. a. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 11. Doctorate in Economics or closely related field (DBA or Ph.D.) ABD status doctoral candidates will be considered. 12. Demonstrated proficiency in information software/applications related to the specialty area. 13. Certification for teaching online courses. SPECIAL CONDITIONS 14. Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. 15. Work Location: On-site Metro Orlando. Online On-site South Florida. On-site Tampa. Teaching assignments under this posting are primarily online. Faculty residing near one of the University's campus locations may also be considered for face-to-face or hybrid teaching assignments based on qualifications and institutional needs.
