Description
We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as Director of Quality of Life. Work consists in developing and implementing the work plan for the area, integrating direct mental health counseling services, prevention activities, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle practices, to be offered at the centers and in the online division.
AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Develop and implement a mental health support service for students at both the Campus and the online division.
2. Create, implement, and oversee the mental health telehealth support services.
3. Establish partnerships, contacts, and collaborative agreements to strengthen the quality of life and student wellbeing services for the Campus and the online division.
4. Develop and supervise the implementation of a student activity plan to promote quality of life and student well-being for Campus and Online Division.
5. Develop and implement manuals regarding services, emergency crisis management protocols, and other tools to address student needs.
6. Create and implement a student activity plan that fosters prevention and healthy lifestyle practices for students at both the Campus and Online Division.
7. Ensure compliance with institutional and federal educational policies related to prevention, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, the prevention of violence in all its forms, and other relevant areas.
8. Ensure specialized care and proper management of student records for students affected by personal situations that impact their mental health and quality of life.
9. Serve as a liaison between student associations at the Campus and the Online Division with the Dean of Students.
10. Update the department's webpage with information about the services and student activities offered in the Quality of Life and Student Wellbeing area.
11. Ensure compliance with Title IX.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, with License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and telehealth certification or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
2. Three (3) years of experience in higher education institution.
3. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English.
4. Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
5. Detail oriented and well organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
7. Commitment to building programs that support equity, inclusion, and diversity.
8. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
