We are currently looking for a dedicated, experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Faculty – Business Administration – Project Management. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution’s learning objectives. Responsibilities include teaching the subject area or areas that correspond to the specialty and contributing to the academic process of the institution through participation in the development of curriculums, assessment, evaluation, research, peer mentoring and coaching, community service, and advancement of the institution. AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 1. Doctorate in Project Management or closely related field (DBA or Ph.D.) ABD status doctoral candidates will be considered. 2. Minimum of 3 years of business industry experience. 3. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a successful instructor in your subject area, prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level. 4. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English. 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and teamwork. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds. 7. Commitment to student success and the institution’s mission. 8. Able to submit copy of any diploma, academic transcripts, and/or certifications 9. Proven leadership skills from your previous work experience. 10. Knowledge and experience in technical applications. a. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard). b. Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis software and collaboration platforms is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are strongly preferred.
