Description
AGMU invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor to teach in the Electricity and Renewable Energy Diploma Program. The instructor will provide students with knowledge and hands-on training in residential and commercial electrical systems, OSHA safety standards, photovoltaic (solar) systems, and renewable energy applications.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum); Associate or Technical Degree preferred.
2. Florida Electrical Contractor or Journeyman License (or significant industry experience under a licensed contractor).
3. Minimum of 4 years of verifiable work experience in the electrical trade.
4. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code.
5. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification required.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in renewable energy (solar installation, PV systems).
2. Previous teaching or apprenticeship training experience.
3. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Special Requirements
SPECIAL CONDITIONS 1. Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. 2. On-site teaching required at AGMU campuses in Tampa, Orlando, or Miami.
