Description
1. Assist the Marketing and Promotions Manager in planning AGMU promotional activities, on campus and online.
2. Conduct quotations, identify comparables, and assist in selecting potential vendors for materials and services within the procurement team role.
3. Manage the institutional events calendar with administrative units, center directors, and academic and student affairs.
4. Maintain inventory of promotional and marketing materials for all corporate offices, warehouses, and university centers.
5. Assist in conceptualizing, developing, and executing new student recruitment activities.
6. Follow up on agreements or proposals for sponsorships or event collaborations in which the brand is present.
7. Ensure proper use of the brand across activities, publications, and event and promotional materials.
8. Prepare reports on the reach and results of institutional events.
9. Coordinate display setups and special promotions for proper brand presentation and material handling.
10. Assist the event team by distributing banners, signage, marketing materials, and any other equipment necessary to ensure brand presence.
11. Support Admissions teams in recruitment.
12. Ensure all outreach and recruitment activities comply with institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields required.
2. Three (3) years of related work experience required.
3. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish.
4. Ability to connect with prospective students and their families, educational counselors, and in-market partners in ways that build productive and lasting relationships.
5. Possess strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Excel at face-to-face and phone communication in both “one-on-one” and large group environments.
7. Demonstrated ability to think strategically as well as tactically; ability to “think outside of the box."
8. Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing strategies to marketing tactics.
9. Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
10. Ability to work on non-traditional shifts, weekends and afternoon and nights shifts.
11. Availability to travel across the university campuses in Orlando, Tampa, South Florida, the Online Division, and any other location as required to coordinate and execute events and promotional activities.
