Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated experienced individual to join our team as Part Time Faculty – Psychology. The ideal candidate will plan, organize and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution’s learning objectives. Responsibilities include teaching the subject area or areas that correspond to the specialty, contribute to the academic process of the institution through the participation in the development of curriculums, assessment, evaluation, research, peer mentoring and coaching, community service, advancement of the institution. AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students. REQUIREMENTS 1. Candidate must have one of the following: a. Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology with concentrations in General Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Social Community Psychology, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Forensic Psychology or Clinical Psychology. b. Master of Science (M.S.) in Psychology with concentrations in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Neuropsychology, Developmental Psychology, or Clinical Psychology. 2. Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a successful instructor in your subject area, prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level is strongly preferred. 3. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English. 4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and teamwork. 5. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds. 6. Commitment to student success and the institution’s mission. 7. Able to submit copies of any diploma, academic transcripts and/or certifications 8. Proven leadership skills from your previous work experience. 9. Knowledge and experience in technical applications: a. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) .

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Doctorate in the field of psychology, preferably including: a. Counseling Psychology, PhD b. Clinical Psychology, PsyD or PhD c. School/Clinical Psychology, PhD d. Industrial/Organizational Psychology, PhD 2. Active license from the state or regional Board of Psychology.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS 3. Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. 4. Work Location: Tampa Bay Campus.
